B'day events
Making my way back to the salmiya petrol station I could sense I was dangerously low on fuel. The car sputtered to a stop right at the entrance of the petrol station. I managed to start it up again but only managed to make it a few feet before the pump. With a helping hand of a few people managed to push it to the pump. My mustang doesn't look as heavy as it actually is, I couldn't push it on my own.

tere bin
tere bin main yun kaise jiya
kaise jiya tere bin
tere bin main yun kaise jiya
kaise jiya tere bin
lekar yaad teri raaten meri kati - 2
mujhse baaten teri karti hai chaandani
tanha hai tujh bin raaten meri
din mere din ke jaise nahi
tanha badan tanha hai ruh nam meri aankhen rahe
aaja mere ab rubaru
jeena nahi bin tere
tere bin main yun kaise jiya
kaise jiya tere bin
tere bin main yun kaise jiya
kaise jiya tere bin
kabse aankhen meri raah mein tere bichhi - 2
bhule se hi kahi tu mil jaaye kabhi
bhule na mujhse baaten teri
bheegi hai har pal aankhen meri
kyun saans loon kyun main jiyu
jeena bura sa lage
kyun ho gaya tu bewafaaa mujhko bata de wajah
tere bin main yun kaise jiya
kaise jiya tere bin ...
tere bin main yun kaise jiya
kaise jiya tere bin ...

Fire and Ice
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

Petrol Prices Worldwide
Pakistan which is not listed has a rate of $4.32 per gallon. I was amazed to see Egypt having cheaper petrol at $0.65 per gallon compared to Kuwait which is $0.78 per gallon.

Toilets
Wonder how they work in other parts of the world.

Curiosity
Curiosity got the better of us
We sought and we discovered
We listened and we saw
We toyed and we played
We quarreled we fought
We thought and we contemplated
For curiosity got the better of us
Redemption
An alluring allusion the causerie was not.
Phantasmagoria built on pity it was.
An austere obdurate of capricious nature.
A poignant denouement of a quixotic utopia.
Forlorn, yet with a fixity to regenerate.
Like Antares radiant in its celestial return.
Emancipating solitary sentiments into oblivion.
Tergiversating from the raptures bygone.
Desensitized to all endearment for futurity.
Penance for former infatuation unsought.
Nor any blame for instigation sought.
Desire for amiable consonance redeemed.
Hate
What is hate but self-immolation,
Through the heart
Quite unlike a cupid’s arrow
Denial of the most precious of senses
Satisfying our lust for self-righteousness
Vilifying the puritan escapades
Implicating the innocence inside
Leaving the demons unchained
Our thoughts slip into repression
No going back, imprisoned
Sinner for life

Flower
A flower bloomed in the desert
Pink and full of life in an oasis
It didn’t thirst for much water
Nor felt blazed by the heat
Did it yearn for further shores?
It matters not
For it glistened in the desert

Perfection
Don't assume you believe
Once you've known disbelief
Once you've seen disbelief
You know what you've believed
Believe it or not it is to be believed

Fear
Fate is something that we are destined.
Destiny leads us down our path.
Pathways created by Him, yet only one we follow.
Follow the right path and avoid failure.
Failure is to be overcome by success.
Success is in finding that path.
Path that leads us to our destiny.
Destined to a certain fate.
Fate written by Him whom we fear.

Why
Why be made the fool
Why be drawn to you
Why I thought of We
Why You thought it too
Why the déjà vu
Why so abruptly
Why unexpectedly
Why no answer definitely
Why not unconditionally
Why it’s all over
Why time to move on
