What do I believe

What do I believe not

The truth from the false

The past or the present

My dreams are they shattered

My wishes were they accepted

My everything, is it something

The meaning of life

Searching for that love

Is it something I possess

Was it ever mine to hold

Where to go from here

I surely do not know

Lead me the way

To my fate which you behold

I picked a pretty flower

From a lush meadow

To take as my own

Little did I know about its upkeep

Delicate and tender

Needing care and affection

Would I be able to provide?

For sure I know

I would give my all

To see it bloom

No more just love

No more just hate

What I feel is ambivalence

Take a step forward

Take a step back

Seem to be headed nowhere

Uncommitted to the atmosphere

Not prescribing to a wish

Not chancing a risk

Bonds to which I won’t submit

Things to that I can’t commit

Let my mind wander free

Let things just as they be

A no-gain no-loss scenario

Status-quo being the de-facto

I’ve been searching for you all my life

Why is it so that you haven't been found?

There’s a loneliness I feel

Why is it you’ve never been around?

Maybe you don’t know my promises

Everlasting love abound

Maybe you don’t know I care

Affectionately, I will to astound

If my words to you have some meaning

Wouldn’t it all be ever so easy?

If you say you’ve been found

My thoughts are in disarray

Emptiness I feel inside

Feeling so incomplete

Can’t you be by my side

Don’t you know how I feel

Are you going to walk away

Or be part of my life

IT does matter!

Saw a blog entry related to an article that we're debating in our Information Systems course. A very controversial paper that tries to discredit the importance of IT in companies. Causing many owners and CEO's of companies to think twice about investing in IT. The following blog aims to allay those fears.

Does IT matter? by ZDNet's Richard Stiennon -- As someone who has been accused of publicity seeking through grand pronouncements I can understand the motivation behind Nicholas Carr’s 2003 article in Harvard Business Review: “IT Doesn’t Matter”. His main thesis is: For a brief period, as they are being built into the infrastructure of commerce, [...]

I have my dream

Is it for keeps?

What the unknown holds

Is it what I seek?

I know not for sure

Are the chances bleak?

Certainly there are expectations

Is it something I can meet?
